Made from strong thick leather, these are designed to help protect your hawk from Squirrel bites. Easily attached and removed by a simple yet very strong press-stud. Even the most experienced hawk can easily in seconds lose a toe from squirrels. Even if you don't hunt Squirrels when your hawk is free you have no control on what quarry they will go for, especially if you are in a wooded area where Squirrels are likely to be present.

This is a good all round leather for anklet and jess sets available in 1.4 to 1.6 ml.
Other wise known as "Kip" the natural veg tan is a superb hood making leather due to its moulding capabilities when soaked and blocked using the hood maker techniques.
Sold in ¼ skin (approximately is 2.5sq ft) ½ skin (approximately 5sq ft) or full skins (approximately 10sq ft).
Why use expensive Kangaroo? This leather is equally as good!
